This is my local market I like their prices, the fruit and vegetables are pricey but good..would love to see more cashiers open in their busiest times
The worst run store ever. 2 cashiers and lines out of the door.
Store is huge their bakery dept is phenomenal I love their pretzel bagels! Their pet aisle is great also this store as well as the Holbrook store have a great pet aisle which is important to me & my dogs & cat. The people are helpful & friendly & the prices aren't that bad.
Been using this Stop and Shop for about 10 years. Staff is rude and acts like customers are ghosts. When employees pack out the aisles, they block the entire aisle and do not move for customers. Don't ask for anything, you will catch an attitude. Store opens at 6am, self scanners don't come online til 7am, self checkout registers usually sometime after 8am. Don't ask about it unless you want to be scolded and lectured about how it isn't their problem. Store manager walks around with coffee just eyeballing everyone. Outdated stock on shelves, displays blocking aisles or products, sale tags up 2 weeks after sale ended (which is illegal), they tell you it's your fault for not reading the sign closely. Check produce before you buy, some of it is moldy. Produce scales are barely functioning, i.e. no paper in them, prices do not match signs, scales are not zeroed out, some produce UPC numbers are not found in scale. Freezer cases of Aunt Jemima have sat empty since a recall 2-3 months ago.
Most of the bad reviews here seem to be centered around personal encounters with rude staff members. I believe those people so I'll only deduct one star. Otherwise the store is very nice, very big, has very long aisles and alot of them to boot. They even have a star buck's built into the store which is pretty handy for any Starbucks fan. Good store to go to for groceries. And the prices aren't that bad either.
